Nothing says fall like some nice hot soup and nothing makes it easier like the slow cooker! They are the perfect combination to create a hearty meal for your family. This Zuppa Toscana recipe is a copycat recipe of the famous one from Olive Garden but I think it is so much better!
This recipe is supposed to have a little kick of spice but the hot Italian sausage is too much for me so I use the original flavor Italian sausage and add a tiny pinch of red pepper flakes for that touch of heat. You can make this to suite your family’s taste preferences. It is also versatile so play around with it and make it your own. I have even been known to chop up some baby bella mushrooms and add to the recipe!
Serve with some hot bread and dinner is ready!
