In October, Thursday is Crock Pot Soup Day on the blog! When I think of cooler days, I think of homemade soup. As the people closest to me knows, I can’t just make a recipe the way it is written. I have to make it my own in some way or another and this recipe is no different. This Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup came out of a lot of trial and error and is the combination of about 3 different recipes.
To some, recipes are strict instructions but to me, they are the foundation for inspiration to create my own flavors. I love to take pieces and parts from different recipes and to see my own creations come to fruition. I really hope that you try and enjoy my Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup recipe!
This is as easy as it gets! I don’t even cook the chicken because I let my local grocery store do that for me. I just buy a store bought Lemon Pepper Rotisserie Chicken and remove it from the bone. It has a lot more flavor than boiling chicken and it is way easier than backing one! So, other than making the cream soup mixture on the stove (which takes about 3 minutes), this recipe is a throw it in the pot and let it cook type of recipe! Just cook your noodles and put your garlic toast in the oven about 20-30 minutes before you want to eat.
